Studio Head Rzeszów

We are looking for a Studio Head. This person will be managing People Can Fly Rzeszów team, facilitating the internal development processes, working with internal groups to develop the game and Rzeszów studio and communicate with the Headquarters and external vendors.

 

Responsibilities

Supervising and controlling work of each and all employees in Rzeszów studio.

Recruiting and hiring developers for Rzeszów studio as agreed with CEO and Head of HR.

Mentoring and evaluating (promoting, reviewing performance, making decisions regarding performance plans) for all developers in Rzeszów studio as agreed with CEO and Head of HR.

Coordination any administrative duties that support Rzeszów studio in collaboration with Headquarters.

Performing production duties for developers working at Rzeszów studio.

Helping establishing relationship with local game dev industry, media outlets, government bodies responsible for grants, etc).

 

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in the entertainment industry (media, advertising, game dev, etc).

Excellent communication skills

Lead by example mentality

Strong work ethic and self-motivated

 

Preference to applicants with

Previous game dev experience

BS (or higher) in Economics, Management or Finance Studies

Demonstrated interest in games

 

Language

English and Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills is a must)

QA Tester

People Can Fly is looking for a QA Tester. You will be responsible for supporting developers (programmers, designers, artists) during every step of AAA production development, creating and maintaining test cases and test plans and producing detailed bug reports and assisting with management of the bug database to reflect the current state of projects.

 

Qualifications

2+ years working experience as a professional QA Tester/Technician (not in linguistic testing)

Compliance experience for consoles: Xbox One and PS4

At least one complete product cycle as tester

Knowledge of PC and consoles

Understanding of and experience with all areas of game testing

Knowledge of QA methodologies to ensure the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency

Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics

Ability to remain focused on given tasks for prolonged time periods; attentiveness to small details

Curiosity and strong will to study and understand the underlying game mechanics that result in glitches

Resistance to stress and ability to withstand time pressure

Great teamwork and communication skills

High work ethic and self-motivated

Passion for Games

 

Preference to applicants with

Experience working with Unreal Engine

Experience working with bug-tracking tools, preferably JIRA

Experience in game development: Design, Tech or Scripting
