Engine Programmer

People Can Fly is looking for an Engine Programmer. This person will be working on a AAA shooter and a new IP across multiple platforms. We’re looking for experienced engine programmers who help enhance and maintain PCF Framework (built on Unreal Engine 4), as well as optimize the game for multiple platforms.

 

Qualifications

Strong C++ knowledge

Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience

Excellent math and/or physics skills

Passion for writing solid, reliable, efficient code and highly scalable systems

Experience with multiple core systems, such as graphics, tools, audio, networking, memory handling, scripting, etc.

Strong work ethic and self-motivated

Demonstrated interest in games

 

Preference to applicants with

Unreal Engine 3/4 knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Experience working with multithreaded systems

Performance and memory optimization skills

Console experience, especially next-generation systems

BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)

Shipped-title experience

 

Language

English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)
