Overview

We are looking for an IT Specialist.

 

Job description

Providing technical assistance and support to users in the second-third lines of defence

Administration of the local computer network and servers.

Ongoing monitoring of systems, applications, performance, security and failure prevention

Development of secure, scalable and effective IT environments

Management of users and computers via Active Directory and GPO

Administration of DNS and DHCP servers

Drafting of offers for modernisation of network and servers infrastructures

Automation of system and application configuration

Ongoing development by understanding and implementing new technologies

 

Our requirements

Minimum three years of experience in a similar position.

Very good knowledge of computer hardware (servers, matrices, switches, etc.).

Very good knowledge of Windows 7.8, 10 and server versions:  2008 – 2019

Practical knowledge of tools to automate infrastructure management

Knowledge of TCP/IP and core network services and ability to configure switches/ routers,

Ability to program in script languages

Knowledge of DellEMC technologies and disk matrices

Knowledge of Google G-suite and virtualisation technologies(Hyper-V/ VMWare)

Very good knowledge of JIRA

Command of English – fluent in speech and in writing

 

Preference to candidates with

Knowledge of Cisco hardware.

Knowledge of Perforce.

Knowledge of Linux Debian systems is welcome

Knowledge of the game sector is welcome

Experience in user support is welcome

Positive approach to understanding the needs of internal customers
