Senior Concept Artist

People Can Fly is looking for a passionate Senior Concept Artist. You will be responsible for creating cool environments, characters, weapons and vehicles for our games and ensuring a consistent art style is maintained across the game. You need to have a creative mind, the ability to create scenes with a memorable “wow” factor, but with grounding details to make it believable and personal.

 

Qualifications

Strong understanding of color theory and how color affects mood & focal points

Strong portfolio showcasing your concept art skills

Solid traditional drawing skills and visual knowledge of human anatomy

Good mechanical design skills

Ability to show visual storytelling within an environment design

Traditional art skills along with core graphic design competencies (composition and layout, typography, color and light)

Strong Photoshop skills

Ability to work with several development teams, while maintaining consistency of design

Vector art creation (Flash, Illustrator) is a plus

3D software knowledge (Maya/Max/SketchUp) is a plus

 

Language

English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)

Senior Animator

People Can Fly is looking for a senior level Senior Animator skilled at creating both realistic and stylized motion for in-game characters (humanoid, creature, or machine). You will be creating high quality content utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data, developing animations that support gameplay and visuals, implementing and iterating on animation assets in game, collaborating with team to create dynamic, player centric experience, troubleshooting and solve animation issues with all departments and organizing and prioritizing animation tasks.

 

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as an animator in film, TV, or games

Shipped AAA game title experience

Strong understanding of the principles of animation and character anatomy

Facial animation and lip-syncing

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Able to take direction and implement feedback

Ability to think outside the box to come up with more efficient techniques

High work ethic and self-motivated

Passion for Games

 

Preference to applicants with

Artistic skills: story boarding, figure study, gesture drawing, 2D animation, illustration and painting

Technical skills: rigging, scripting, proficient in Maya and Motionbuilder

Familiarity with Unreal or similar game engine

 

Language

English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)
